Diet and Lifestyle

We've all heard that regular exercise can help reduce the risk of heart disease. Now, new research is pointing out just how critical getting enough exercise can be! A Harvard research project involves an ongoing study of over 84-thousand women. The study follows the diet and lifestyle habits of the women over a 14-year period. During that time span, low cases of heart disease occurred among the women. Researchers used this group to define a healthy lifestyle for avoiding heart disease. These findings are tried and true rules that will do your heart well. Don't smoke, maintain a body mass index of 25 or less, get at least a half-hour of exercise per day, and avoid foods with saturated fat.
