Exercise and Heart Disease

Exercise is vital to your overall well being! But when it comes to heart disease, exercise alone just isn't enough to get the job done! There are many documented cases of people who are in tiptop physical condition. But they neglect other key risk factors like high cholesterol and plaque on the arteries. In the end they develop life-threatening coronary problems just like anyone else! Exercise has little affect on a family history of heart disease. Am I saying that exercise won't reduce your chances for coronary problems? Of course not! What I am saying is that exercise needs to be done in tandem with a healthy, well balanced diet program focusing on cholesterol reduction and proper nutrition! All the exercise in the world won't help if you have a barbell in one hand and a burger in the other!
