Natural Sleep

Many people find it difficult to get a good sleep but simply don't want to take pharmaceutical sleep aids. If you're one of them, these simple steps may help you get your rest without resorting to supplements and medications.
  • Use alcohol moderately. It may help you to doze off initially, but it tends to disturb your sleep later in the night, leaving you feeling sleepy the next day.
  • Exercise! It will help you fall asleep at night. Make sure you to work out early in the day and not right before bedtime.
  • Reduce your night-time stress! If you bring work home with you, finish it up early so you can unwind before retiring for the night.
  • Don't eat right before bedtime.
Finally -- try to go to bed at the same time every night and avoid long naps during the day!
