Adding a little ginger to your meals may help you lose weight! Recently, the Journal of Molecular Nutrition & Food Research reported on a study conducted by researchers at Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health in Aberdeen, Scotland. The researchers found that when mice were given a diet based on high fat-content foods, they gained less weight if ginger was a part of their daily nutritional regimen. Ginger is already being hailed for it's anti-inflammatory properties, possible benefits against cancer and and it's ability to boost the immune system. Pungent and spicy, ginger not only tastes great, it has great benefits!
