The study found that vitamin K interacts with the body's chemistry to provide healthy bones. It works by allowing a particular protein to take its place in the skeletal structure! Green leafy vegetables are one of the best sources of Vitamin K. Scientists find that women consuming around three hundred micrograms a day have greater bone density! You don't have to eat much to reap the benefits! Kale is the super-star with about 1062 micrograms of vitamin K per cup, followed by spinach with approximately three hundred and sixty micrograms per cup, brussel sprouts with two hundred and thirty five and broccoli with one hundred and thirteen micrograms per cup.
