Tone Triceps/Fight Flab
Is there a trick to terrifically toned triceps?
That giggly spot [technically called the triceps] is a problem area, particularly for many women. But there are simple exercises that will tone and tighten this spot. All you need are some 3 to 5 pound dumbbells. The best exercise is the triceps kickback.
To position yourself, rest your right hand and your right knee on a bench or other flat surface so that your back is straight. Holding a dumbbell in your left hand, position your left elbow at about hip height. Without moving your upper arm or shoulder, extend your lower arm. Lift the weight until your lower arm is in line with your upper arm. Do three sets of 10 to 12 repetitions, three times a week. Allow a minute's rest between sets, and a rest day between workouts. You should notice a difference in about three to four weeks.
