Exercise: How Much is Enough?

When it comes down to achieving your health goals how much exercise is the right amount?

To attain goals like lowering your risk of heart disease, diabetes, and even cancer, there are certain guidelines you can follow. A good rule of thumb is to get at least 30-minutes of accumulated exercise per day. Every day of the week activities can consist of things like walking, gardening, or even riding a bike.

You can get that same benefit by performing the exercise all at once, or in three intervals of ten minutes. If your goal is to enhance your overall fitness level, you should boost the intensity of your workout. Think in terms of saving 10-minutes here and ten minutes there. They add up to an awesome investment in your health!
