Estrogen and Your Gym
Ladies, new research shows that exercise could be the magic bullet you've been looking for! A good workout dramatically lowered estrogen levels in a study group of one hundred seventy-five overweight post-menopausal women. That's great news- because research suggests a strong link between breast cancer and elevated weight and estrogen levels.
Test subjects did moderate intensity aerobic exercises for one year. They included things like brisk walking or stationary cycling. The women performed the exercises five days a week for forty five to sixty minutes a day. Estrogen levels plummeted in the women who lost weight due to exercise. And the test subjects didn't have to modify their calorie intake in order to reap the benefits of working out!
