Honey-Mustard Salmon

Grilled SalmonThis recipe also works well with tuna steaks.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons minced shallots
1 teaspoon dried thyme, crumbled
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
4 pieces salmon fillet,
    about 6 ounces each

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, combine shallots, thyme, honey, mustard, salt and pepper. Brush mixture over skinless side of salmon.
  3. Lightly oil a baking sheet and place salmon, skin side down, on sheet.
  4. Bake on middle rack of oven 13-17 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
