Prune Dessert Topping
Ingredients:
1 cup St. Dalfour's prunes
1 cup Armagnac
2 sticks cinnamon
Preparation:
- Cover the prunes with the Armagnac and allow to macerate in a saucepan for at least 3 hours.
- Add cinnamon sticks and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until liquid is almost entirely evaporated; the prunes will be very plump and moist.
- Discard cinnamon and serve over ice cream, frozen yogurt or by themselves.
