Vegetarian Diet

If you choose a strict vegetarian diet make sure you get essential nutrients.

A vegetarian diet in addition to plenty of whole grains lowers your chances of getting many chronic diseases. But a diet that's completely meat free can deprive you of some essentials.

Critical Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin b-1 2 can be found by adding a little variety to your vegetarian diet. Cold water fish like salmon and tuna, and skinless poultry are excellent sources of essential vitamins and minerals that are missing in vegetables.

So, next time you're in the supermarket produce aisle be sure to do a little fishing as well!
