Buffalo is a good alternative to beef. So why aren’t more people eating it?

The average beef filet has 42 grams of artery clogging fat compared to 6 grams of fat in a buffalo filet. The supply, however, is limited.

There are 100-thousand buffalo in North America. In perspective, 100-thousand cattle are slaughtered everyday. Ranchers are raising the animals free of hormones and stimulants, which is why the tasty meat is becoming popular for many health conscious families. And it's more convenient. Buffalo meat cooks faster because there is less fat.
